I told a friend about this and she asked me to send her the link. I never did, but gave her the one I ordered as a gift. It really works! Fresh cherry season will be here soon, so I'll be ordering for myself. It's less clumsy and faster than single cherry hitters. When you're making desserts or soaking cherries for old fashioned cocktails, you need to pit a lot. This neat little machine will make quick, light work of it all.
Cherry pitting made easy. This litlle device is genius! It doesn’t even crush the cherries. It just pushes the pit out and leaves behind a perfect hole in the center of the cherry which is great presentation for culinary entertaining etc. I also use the container to store the cherries in the fridge once pitted for several days and they remain fresh. It is a very handy kitchen device. Recommended!
I can’t believe I never used it before! It’s work good but u have to make sure you put the olives and cherries in right position( I press twice firmly ) and because I made cherries for 4 year old I counted the pits😂😂😂( so one pit stayed in the cherry , it’s also great for olives , I avoided to eat cherries because of the pit , I really reccomend , but if u have small child make sure all pits out! Count the pits or check the cherries 👍👍👍I made video so u can see

We were invited by a neighbor to pick sour cherries from their tree, and took home a large bucket of them. Was able to pit the whole batch in about 20 minutes using this. Sometimes the pit did cling to the flesh of the cherry, and would be hanging off the bottom of the pitting device, but it was easy to remove those from the bottom of the device. I just needed to pay attention to removing those, but it was still so much faster than any other pitting method even with that extra step. I think this is more of an issue with sour cherries than with sweet cherries.It cleaned up nicely in the dishwasher, but I did need to leave it to dry overnight as the top section gets liquid in it and is not openable.
Before this product, I was using the Oxo cherry pitter, pitting one cherry at a time. It worked great, I had no issues with it until I realized there were products on the market that pit multiple cherries at once, total game changer. I'll often pit a bunch of cherries to take to work the next day and this new gadget saves me sooo much times. I've only had it one day but so far, it's amazing. It's cheaper than comparable models and ships pretty fast. You need a bit of elbow grease to push down on the pusher but after a push or two, it's pretty second nature! I love the comparment in the bottom that automatically catches all of the pits, I no longer need separate bowls, one for the pits and another for the pitted cherry.
