This works great! It is easy to use and clean. There is very little waste of the apple. You just center it around the core on top, push it down (I give it a slight turn to help separate the core once the instrument is plunged down), and pull it back up. The core is easily removed by pressing the handle so it opens, then I can just pluck it out in once piece to discard it. Makes apple coring a breeze.
I’ve gone through several apple corers in my life. Some I had to sent back, some got thrown away because they were so awful.• This one is a WINNER, an absolute winner.• The handle is very user-friendly, even after nearly a bushel of apples, my hand still was not tired.• The serrated end of the shaft is razor sharp• The entire shaft is extremely sturdy. Unlike most other corers, this one did not wobble and flex at all,which made the cutting through the apple very efficient and sharp.• Everything above makes this product a winner, but for me the cherry on the top is the fact that the‘jaws’ open up with a simple pressing down of the thumb, therefore the removal of the core is a cinch.• All my previous ones were hollow tubes, and it took a serious digging trying to remove the peskycores, which never came out in one piece.• I definitely would recommend this corer.
I wasn’t sure if I really needed an apple corer, but I’m so glad I got this one! It’s super easy to use—just press down, twist, and the core pops right out. The serrated edges make cutting through apples (or even pears) a breeze. It feels sturdy and well-made, not flimsy like some other kitchen tools. Plus, cleanup is quick—just rinse it off or toss it in the dishwasher. If you eat a lot of apples, this little tool is totally worth it!

I love these Apple Corer Tools! They are easy to use and clean and they core the apple without any problems. What is said in the product description is exactly what you get and I am so excited that it works as promised! Super easy to remove the the core when you are done and washing the corer is just as easy. The plastic cap is also easy to put on the bottom so it stays sharp and you don't snag anything or cut yourself.I use the apple corer about three times a week and it is just as sharp as it was as the first time I used it.
