Water tight seafood boil bags
I actually ordered these seafood boil bags to use for marinading meats, since I don't trust my usual zipper bags to be leakproof. When I first opened this box of bags, I had my doubts as there was wear in the fold creases that I worried would ruin the integrity of the plastic. I filled the worst-looking one with water and applied pressure in several places, and it was truly leakproof, and I was confident that the seal was perfect for containing messy meats with marinade.My confidence wasn't shaken when I filled the bag with yogurt marinade and 8 chicken thighs. I could easily have placed three or four times that amount in there, as these bags are huge! It was nice that the bag didn't leak whatsoever nor release any smells in my refrigerator while the chicken was marinating.These bags aren't only high capacity, the plastic is much stronger and stiffer than regular zip bags. They have a fold out bottom that enables them to stand up on their own. They'd make great storage bags. I don't think they'd be good for freezing though, since they are so stiff. Overall I'm pretty happy with them.

Thick sturdy bags that work well for food items with different cook times
I use these for a seafood boil for a large family gathering. For the most part, they worked well, but I did have to use multiple parts of water as I found when I crowded them in a pot of water. Sometimes the plastic would make direct contact with the side of the pot and I did end up with a hole in one of the bags. Despite this, they were nice thick quality bags and they made it easy to keep different types of seafood separate for different cook times.

These are great for both your initial boil and also for storing or reheating your food. I would heat the same bag twice, just as a precaution, but I use these to store and reheat leftovers from seafood boils we get from restaurants and they’ve been just great. I love the ziplock closure, too. It makes it so much easier to use and much cleaner.

Versatile large bags for cooking or storage.
These bags are amazing. Large enough for a seafood boil, chicken, or other type of food cooking and/or storage. The height and width, along with the 7-inch base makes for plenty of room and the strength of the plastic allows for worry-free use. The sealing mechanism is like most smaller food storage bags, so you have to be careful and sure that it is zipped all the way across to avoid leakage. The size and strength are the main features, so if they'll accommodate what you have in mind, you'll be happy.

Great size and very sturdy
These bags are very sturdy and of great size. I have used these to store meats while having them marinate overnight and it held up very well with no rips or tears. I had a large turkey for Thanksgiving and used one of these bags for brining overnight and it worked out perfectly for us since we were out of the plastic brining bags and had to use these instead and am glad that I had extra on hand.
