Clever and REALLY nice looking.

Maybe I missed the boat on tea sets, but this is so clever to me. I love the way it steeps the tea and then with a turn the tea comes out. The tea pot itself is easy to rinse and clean. It has a metal screen to keep the tea leaves out, you can even steep a bag of tea if you’d like. I love the shape of the dragon and the gloss. It is designed to look like the dragon is blowing fire on the tea pot (very clever) It is so beautiful to me. I leave it out on my counter and plan to use it daily. I tested it with 210 degree water and it tolerated that just fine so it seems to be incredibly durable. I did not put soap through the pot, just used hot water but it was very easy to clean the internal parts-just like brewing tea. The cups and tea pot themselves are dishwasher safe so if needed you can pop them in there, they are small and easy enough to clean individually though.It does only hold 5 ounces at a time, so that is something to adjust to if you prefer larger cups of tea. Other than the smaller capacity this tea set is not only adorable it is highly functional and easier to use than other loose leaf tea pots I have seen.
