These are incredible Damascus type Knives that are not made in Japan. So far I am extremely satisfied with the weight, the ease of handling, the style/looks, and the sharpness of each blade. It handles and cuts as well as my Japanese Chef Set that I had fof 25 years for 1/8 of the cost. I am not sure what process Seken uses to make the knives, but the look is outstanding. The wood handles have a great fit and feel. I was so impressed with this set that I bought another set for my step daughter and a kitchen set for our home. I think everyone that buys a set would be extremely satisfied.

Knives that will last a lifetime!

This Dynasty collection of Senken knives is exquisite and I’ve had my eye on them for awhile. There are 7 knives that come in a beautifully padded box: a check’s knife, bread knife, cleaver, Santorum knife, boning knife, utility knife, and paring knife. After using the same inexpensive set of kitchen knives for the past 20 years, it was past time to upgrade.
