Excellent storage for knives

This is a beautifully crafted natural wood kitchen drawer organizer for knives.The knives from all different brands fit perfectly in this holder, with the handles resting at just the right size and height, so it's a universal knife holder, not just for the Senken brand of knives.The quality of this wood holder is really high-end, and it's beautiful. It's perfectly functional, it holds a lot of knives, and I love that this is an option that is different from having a knife block out on the counter. This is a great safety feature for anyone who has children or doesn't want their knives on display.At the time of this review, the price is $89.99, and this is a good price for a knife holder of this quality and design. It is so upscale and beautiful that I wish I could leave it out on display for all to see!

A great in-drawer knife solution!

This is a great knife solution for my pretty standard-depth of 3.5 inches! The drawer also easily closes when the knives are in place - a key thing I was worried about, but it doesn’t even get close to hitting on my nakiri, or any of my big-but-standard sized knives. I was suprised that a short santoku could even fit in the shorter spots!Surprisingly, the smaller knives are a little less of a fit - if the handle to bolster is less than 4.5 inches, like on a normal pairing knife or peeling knife, the end of the handle won’t quite sit on the wooden bumper, which makes it slightly harder to pull out of the drawer. That said, my steak knives fit great, so maybe it’s more about a short handle combined with the short blade.I really, really like this knife holder. I’ve had others before that didn’t fit, or wouldn’t fit with knives in it…. This one works great though! The wood color is beautiful and looks like the stock images, and the finish is smooth to the touch as well - no rough edges. I recommend this knife organizer!
