A Work of Art!

I'm in the process of upgrading my kitchen essentials, and this Senken magnetic knife block crafted from acacia wood and stunning blue resin is a game-changer. It's not just a storage solution; it's an impressive work of art that has already elicited compliments from my friends. The artisans behind this creation have truly elevated the concept of kitchen accessories to a whole new level! What sets this knife block apart is not just its aesthetic appeal but its functionality and quality craftsmanship. There are powerful magnets embedded within the smooth finish of the wooden frame that securely hold a variety of knives, from small utility blades to larger chef’s knives, allowing for easy access while keeping them organized. The block is extra large and its double-sided magnets allow storage of knives both in the front and back. It has freed up drawer space in my kitchen and made it easy for me to select the right knife for the right job. It has also inspired me to replace my old, junky steak knives, which don’t do this board justice at all. I’m planning to order a set of cerulean blue Senken knives to display on this board. If you're looking to elevate your culinary space and showcase your knives in style, this magnetic knife block is a must-have. It would also make an incredible gift, (although I’m not going to part with mine). It's gorgeous, practical, and truly exceeded my expectations.

Magnetic strips DON’T HOLD

Giving a three star because after purchasing a SENKEN knife set along with this for my SO’s Christmas, I was a little disappointed with the quality. The knives are sturdier and have a bit of a weight to them, and the magnetic strips on this knife holder does NOT support them. Any movement or touch of the knives and they fall off immediately. The design was nice. But the magnets, which is the whole point of having it, do virtually nothing, so this was a useless purchase.

WOULDN'T RECOMMEND!!

I only give it one star only because the knife board itself looks nice.Where do I even start. I will start off with the only positive. The knife board itself LOOKS nice the manufacturer took the time at least on that aspect to make it look nice. That is the only positive. And now for all the negative. Let's start out with the feet that hold the knife board up right. First they don't even match the board. The color of stain they used on the feet doesn't match the color of the wood of the knife board. One would think that would be just as important as the knife board itself to match the stain of the feet and board. The feet don't blend with the board and take away from the over all appearance. If you can't match the wood stain then stain the feet black to match the resin.Second..when working with wood a sixteenth of an inch is the difference between quality craftsmanship and garbage with the cut for the knifeboard slots on the feet garbage. There shouldn't be gaps between the slots of the feet and the board once feet are installed Had the cuts been done right the feet would hold tight to the board and you wouldnt need screws to stabilize the board. But they didn't so that just takes away more of the appearance from the knife boardThird..the magnets are weak they hold flimsy knives but any knife with any heft to it will have an issue. Instead of the same magnetic strength across both sides of the board there are stronger spots then others.Fourth...since you can't get the cut of the slots on the feet that the knife board sits in right then one would think they could get the screws right which they didn't. Most people know especially ones that work with wood knows you use corse thread screws when working with wood. But to more disappointment they sent fine thread screws which do not screw into the resin worth a crap. For a knife board they are charging 139$ for one would think they would have made it a better quality knife board. It's sad quality is surpassed by greed. I'll have to make my own feet to hold up the knife board and won't need screws to stabilize it.As you can see the knives on the board aren't of any heft what so ever, but the small pairing knife leans due to weakness of magnets on that end.The 4 pictures of the feet were taken to show the gaps between board and feet about a 1/16 on both sides.Great idea poor execution it's a shame really.

Beautiful!

I am so extremely happy with my magnetic knife holder. It’s beautiful with the unique wood and resin. Truly a one of a kind piece of art. It holds my large custom knives and cleavers securely. I have 7 large, heavy Serbian knives and cleavers of varying shapes and sizes in this holder and they fit well with room to spare. This holder always gets great comments. It’s just beautiful and a piece of working art
