Nice cookware
It’s hard to get non-stick cookware that’s safe for birds. A lot of companies obfuscate about what’s in the coating or even have representatives flat out lie. And sadly, while I’m happy to use stainless steel and cast iron, there are some things that just don’t cook as well with those. Then I went and got an induction stove, not realizing that would make it even harder to find appropriate cookware. The widely regarded brands of ceramic cookware are either not induction compatible or outrageously expensive (hundreds of dollars for something that usually only lasts a few years, as ceramic cookware is reputed to do, is not a wise use of money). So I tried Sensarte, first with a small skillet and then with this pot.I have been extremely pleased. Stuff just does not stick at all. I’m being careful to neither damage the surface nor use it at high temperatures just in case there is some sneaky Teflon relative in there, but the surface doesn’t seem at all like the misrepresented stuff I got last time. My birds are fine and the recipes I feel like I really need the non-stick with have been coming out great. I can’t speak as to the longevity yet, but I’ve been using the skillet nearly daily for several months with no visible wear or loss of function. They work great with my induction stove too.If you do have birds, be careful about overheating just in case, but I think this is probably safe.
