Soft, thick cotton napkins. The black is dark and they are sewn well,

These napkins are really nice. I received 12 nicely folded and tied together black napkins, separated into groups of 4 with plastic ties. . They are 17x17 inches. They are very thick and feel like they are made of good quality material. They are not rough and feel good on my hands. I like that there 100% cotton, so they’ll last. I washed them in cold water without a problem but did need to iron them on low when they were done to get them looking perfect. They did not shrink. The price is perfect for 12 napkins that are so versatile. These would like nice on a formal dinner setting or for a lunch.

These COULD have been five stars...

I actually really like these 100% cotton dinner napkins and would have absolutely given them 5 stars had they not arrived borderline damaged with holes poked into the fabric from the plastic tab things that they unnecessarily used to pin them all together. Honestly, the cotton ribbon would have tied them securely just fine, but instead the manufacturer stapled two sets of plastic tabs through four napkins, which resulted in a bunch of unsightly holes poked through the cotton fabric. I really do hope these holes will work themselves out in either the washer or dryer, because the way they look right now really ruins the elegance of these napkins.As far as the quality is concerned, these are not the silky, heavyweight cloth napkins that they use at fancy restaurants or at hotel banquets, but I actually like these better. I prefer the true cotton feel of these over those more slick, silkier type polyester cotton blend cloth napkins. These have a really nice texture, as if you could truly wipe off spaghetti sauce or salad dressing onto these napkins and the cotton WILL absorb the mess and get it off your hands. I would estimate these to be medium weight, actually a perfect weight for all occasions from casual to formal/fancy. Being 100% cotton, you could also fold these into a pretty shape (i.e. swan or fan) and I think they would hold quite well, especially if you gave these a quick coat of spray starch and ironed them after taking them out of the dryer. I think these have a bit of rustic, natural look to them that will go with just about any tablescape.The stitching on these is done quite well, with at least 10 stitches sewn per inch which makes for a very strong seam all the way around the edges, and the stitching is straight and evenly done.I love the rustic yet elegant feel of these cloth napkins and would love to have these in other colors. For now, I will have to see if the poked holes come out in the wash and see how much these shrink over time before I decide to purchase more.

Nice set of cotton napkins

I needed a set of nice napkins for Easter, and I’m so glad I ordered these! They are so soft, and become even softer after washing. The color is a beautiful muted forest green. I was skeptical because the picture shows a grassier green but that is not how they come. They are all the same size, perfectly square and easy to fold. I’d order these in a different color for other holidays!

These dry surprisingly non wrinkly out of the dryer, even if left for a few hours. The black color ensures a stains will be unseen. We are using these as our cooking rags, and while they are not very absorbent, they clean up small messes and it’s better than using paper towels constantly.
