We love the look of these salt and pepper containers, and the functionality is great. The lids are easy to remove and replace, but still have the ability to keep out the humidity which prevents clumping of the salt and pepper (important especially in the kitchen and in Indiana summers). They look great on our counter top and saves the step of opening the cabinets while cooking.

Okay-ish salt & pepper cellars

These are okay-ish I would say. The lid is not super well-fitting. I am using the cellars for salt and pepper and only keep them 2/3rd full - they are large enough and hold a good amount to be kept out on the counter for cooking purposes. The lid of one of the containers in particular, however, never really sits in well. It always juts a bit up on one side. The other container is similar too, but one is more obvious than the other. Other than the lid having this fitting issue (which is supposed to be the main thing!), I like the quality of the ceramic and the size of the salt and pepper cellars. Overall, their appearance is not up-to-the-mark because of the ill-fitting lids. They are easy to use because their wide open mouths make grabbing a pinch of this or that very easy - it is very functional while cooking! Not a value for money buy, in general, I think. They are a bit too expensive at $21.99 (especially given their lid quality) as of the date of this review!
