Easy To De-Mold. Really.
I've become something of an ice tray connoisseur since my 2nd countertop ice maker died and I refused to buy another. I'm also 65, so I've used just about every kind of ice cube tray that's ever hit the marker at some point. What I Like:1. These trays are shallower than most currently available, roughly 3/4 of an inch deep vs. the typical 1 inch.2. The shorter depth makes removing the cubes easier. I have arthritis in my hands, so this is a noticeable difference to me. They're of course wider overall, but still fit in the shelves on the door of my apartment size freezer/refrigerator.3. These cubes are a bit wider, resulting in an ice cube of roughly the same volume as a deeper tray.4. The lids fit well, there's a raised strip around the tray they slip onto, with minimal fuss.5. The shallower-but-wider configuration makes these ideal for freezing small amounts of food, yogurt, or fruit.6. The silicone seems of good quality. They're easy to wash and to fill.7. The most important detail is that the corners of the ice cube mold are rounded. Yes, it sounds silly, but I ordered 2 trays recently that had perfectly square, 90 degree corners. The sharp corners CUT THE SILICONE when I removed them the very first time. So now, I make sure to check for rounded corners.8. Price at time of review is $17 for 2. Seems pricey, but these trays check every box, and I really recommend them. What I Dislike:1. As a child of the 60s, I've been there, done that with the yellow and orange kitchen colors, and have no interest in a reboot. No star deduction, as that's a personal preference.

Game changer ice cube trays
This set of two silicone 15-cube molds with matching silicon lids from the Sisem Store have been a great addition to our household. We use them to freeze stock and gravy into cubes for use in dishes as we need them which is very convenient. Overall I am very please with their performance and have since donated all of our old standard ice cube trays.Getting these filled was easy, but there is a learning curve with adding the proper amount. If you overfill, they will spill over into the other trays when you apply the silicone lid which isn't terrible, but does take aways from the atheistic of the final cubes. Also of note, these need to be placed onto a flat surface in the freezer, else the molds will buckle. The great thing is how easy the lid is to remove after freezing; it is not stuck like some of the hard plastic version. It simply peels right off and can be rinsed off in the sink. A simple push up from the bottom releases the frozen goodies inside without any need to warm up or prying. At almost $9 a tray, these can seem a little pricey but they make up for it in convenience and easy cleanup, making these a good value. The silicone lid also keeps out any unwanted odors from the fridge or freezer, which is another big plus.

Great Ice Cube Trays — Love the Spill-Proof Lids!
I’ve owned similar ice cube trays before and loved them, so when I saw these SISEM Silicone Ice Cube Trays with lids, I had to grab them — you can never have too many! These come in a set of two with different colors, which makes it easy to tell what’s inside without opening them thanks to the transparent silicone lids. The lids are my favorite feature. They make filling the trays so much easier and completely spill-proof. No more dripping water on the floor while walking back to the fridge! The silicone is flexible, so popping the ice out is effortless. They’re also easy to clean and can be disinfected with hot water, which is a big plus for keeping things hygienic. I’ve only used them for ice so far, but being silicone, I’m sure they’d work great for freezing other things too.Overall, these are sturdy, convenient, and well-designed. Highly recommend!

Good silicone ice cube trays that are easy to clean and get ice out of but pricey.
This Set of 2 Silicone Ice Cube Trays is good for making ice or other items. The ice is easy to remove and the lid keeps it from spilling and protects it from anything falling into it. The cube are a little more shallow than typical and the overall size of the tray is smaller than the old style plastic ones as you can see in my photo. Overall, these are decent ice cube trays and I like that they are made of silicone instead of plastic but they are pricier than I would have expected.

Premium Platinum Silicone Freezer Trays, Hold Over 1 Tbsp Per Square
Love them! These high quality platinum silicone trays hold over 1 tablespoon of pureed veggies per square, include fitted lids, and stack neatly in the freezer. Each square is roughly 1.5” x 1.25” x .75” deep. The trays are reasonably easy to move around even when they’re loaded up, so not extremely floppy. The lids are very convenient, especially for stacking.I make homemade dog food and I’ve been using these trays for freezing pureed veggies. They have the perfect capacity for my food prepping needs. They’d also be great for ice, broth, sauce leftovers, or any other small portion item. The trays have enough of an edge to use for handles on each end.I looked up platinum silicone online and found that it’s a premium grade of silicone, used for medical devices, baby products, and high end kitchenware. From what I found, platinum silicone is listed as meeting FDA/LFGB standards for food safety. It has more tensile strength as well, which might explain why these feel more sturdy to me than other silicone trays. I appreciate the high caliber, non toxic material of these trays.Safe for oven, microwave, freezer, and dishwasher. These are fast & easy to wash by hand too, which is often my preference. Overall a quality and versatile kitchen item.
