Very beautiful for a nicer meal but probably not the best for every day hard usage
These placemats really are beautiful however I do worry that they're going to get scratched and marked up rather easily. I bought them to protect a wood table where we eat most of our meals. My intent was for them to protect the wood, but now I feel like I need to protect them. They are somewhat problematic when on a smooth surface because they can skate around a little bit. they are nice and thick and definitely will do heat protection as they are made of cork. But I'm worried that if I put anything too hot on them it might mar the beautiful art. So I guess I would advise that they are something better to use for special occasions on top of a tablecloth. They are very beautiful. I'm giving a five-star because they are beautiful well made and well presented.

These are so beautiful, I don't want anyone to use them and I'm trying to figure out a more creative (minus food stains) way to use them. Placemats
Beautiful colors and so nice. I love them, but they are not holding up at all. These aren’t even 3 months old and the finish is coming off. It’s just my husband and I so it can’t be blamed on a lot of usage. Would like a refund or another set. They are wiped off with a damp washcloth and then dried off. I am so disappointed because they look so great the colors are gorgeous.
