Great design features for our humid southern climate
The somisgarden coaster set I received have some features that make them my current favorites at my house. First and foremost, there is a nice raised lip around the edge to prevent the moisture from rolling off onto your table surface. Where I live in the soggy south, an iced tea glass will have condensation rolling off it in no time and so this raised lip will corral the excess water nicely. Add to that - the absorbent felt insert - and these coasters just went to the top of my list. I’m really pleased to find that this coaster comes in two integrated pieces, a felt insert and the silicone cover with a generous lip. On those sweaty humid days when my coaster is soaked from condensation, I can easily pop the felt insert out of the silicone sleeve and allow it to dry completely, thus avoiding a moldy coaster insert.One of my gripes on my current silicone coasters is that there is no texture to the top surface and as a result, the wet glass will fuse right to the coaster, allowing it to lift up and drop off to the table or floor if you’re not watching. The somisgarden set has the felt insert so it doesn’t fuse to the glass being used. Also, silicone on its own will allow water to pool under the glass and as a result, your glass bottom drips when you bring it across to your mouth. The absorbent felt keeps that from happening with this thoughtful set. The 3/16 inch felt also provides some insulation against heat; the bottom was slightly warm but not hot after a couple minutes of having a cup of boiling hot water sitting on it. My older plain silicone coasters, without the felt insert, would have been full- on hot against the tabletop.The coaster edges are smooth and nicely done, silicone is soft and flexible, and the marble pattern and color of the felt looks classy. I appreciate having the included wire holder to keep them corralled when not being used, and I’m appreciative of the silicone “feet” to help keep the holder from sliding or scratching the tabletop. I’m glad I ordered these as they have the best design features overall for my humid southern climate.

Really work nice! Nonslip is a great feature!
I have been leaving water rings on my side table for 2 years now. I also rest hot food on it sometimes. I have had to clean up the finish several times. It’s a small table and things slide off.These coasters are great solution. They are non-skid and things stay put! Yes the fabric part will absorb sweat, but that is not usually my problem as I don’t usually have cold drinks— I prefer room temperature. But a cold cereal bowl— now that is what these will really work for in my house! There’s enough rubber on the top that the bowl doesn’t slide. Perfect!They are more functional than I expected (can you really have a high expectation for a coaster?). And they look nice. Durability seems like it won’t be a problem. The fabric is removable for cleaning.The GF hasn’t seen them yet… I hope they meet her approval!

Nice, lightweight coasters
These are nice coasters. Large enough for any cup, light enough to not be heavy or awkward and I like the look of them.There are plenty of them, so even if you misplace a few, you've got others. It has a holder. Granted, its plastic, but its a hard plastic and doesnt appear to be easily broken.I've yet to have any of the coasters collect condensation.Nice product.

Very functional coaster set with holder.
Very nice set of 6 non slip Coaster W/ Holder!These coasters look great and function well. The inside is a felt material that soaks up the condensation from drinks. The outside is a silicone which makes them non slip. The size of the coasters are a little bigger than most, making these ideal for most drink sizes. I am pleased with this purchase and would recommend!

These are a good set of coasters that look pretty much like the images in the listing. They don't really look like marble in person, but the design is still decent. The non-slip feature is great. I appreciate the holder to keep them together when not in use. The felt is removable to allow for cleanup, and I washed the silicone part in the dishwasher top rack without any issue. I was able to put any glasses and almost any size mug in them without a hassle. I have a couple of giant thick handmade mugs that were a bit too wide -- but everything else fit with room to spare!Will be bringing these to work to keep our drinks in place and our counters "sweat-free".
