damper feature is top-notch
at least I think it's called the damper. You can set the tension on this thing so you can easily pull off just one sheet without unrolling the whole roll when you're trying to use it with one hand. Easy to install and very streamlined and highly functional. Love that I can use it with one hand cause I'm always carrying a lot of stuff. I accidentally bought 12 when I thought I was buying six because I didn't realize there were two in a package but when it comes right down to it I think I actually can use all 12 around the whole house.

This is a pretty good paper towell holder. We bought it because it had an adjustable tension on the roller that helps with one-handed use. We are always holding a child or baby in one hand so this definintely comes in handy.The materials and finish are good, but the bracket is a bit thin which causes it to be flimsy once installed. It's durable for adult use, but I'm curious how long it will hold up with little kid use, thus the 4 star rating.I would recommend this holder vs others because of its adjustable tension feature, material quality, and installation was very easy. I like that I was able to dis-assemble it to install the bracket underneath the cabinet easily, then re-attach the roller via a screw.

Best Ever design!
Did you ever yank on a paper towel, and have ten sheets unroll on the floor? Grrrr. not here! the unit has a wonderfull mechanism I haven't seen before, that applies an adjustable tension to the Towel roll, making it east to rip-off the length you want, without the rest rolling away! Also the unit mounts easy, is solid, and good looking. The mounting holes are a bit too close to the center, so you have to use a screwdriver to install it, instead of the power drill I like, but that only makes a 30 second difference that you'll never remember over the life of the unit.
