Charming Ruffled Runner With Soft Neutral Appeal.
I ordered this sweet ruffled table runner in the natural beige color and overall it is really quite pretty. I have not ironed it yet, as you can see from the photos, but I wanted to try it on the table first to check the length and width. This runner measures 12 inches wide by 71 inches long. A bit shorter in length and width than what I’m used to.While the design is absolutely charming, the 12 inch width does make it feel a bit lost on a larger table. I think it would be perfect for a smaller or narrower table. That said, I am not opposed to layering and plan to try placing it over a wider blue linen runner to add interest and texture. I could also see this working beautifully on a buffet or console table if I decide not to use it on the dining table.The fabric description is a little confusing, as it is advertised as polyester fiber but also described as 100 percent cotton with ruffled edges and referred to as a cotton linen fabric. Regardless, it feels very much like cotton to me. Because of that, I will not be putting it in the dryer. I plan to hang it to dry and use a steamer to remove wrinkles.I also love that this runner comes in a vibrant pink. I was tempted, but ultimately went with the neutral since it works better in our shared space. The beige color feels grounded and versatile, and I bring in color through artwork and accents instead.Overall, this is an adorable runner with lovely ruffled details that add a touch of feminine whimsy. While the width may not work for every table, the unique look and quality still make it a five star item for me.
