I was really happy with this knife for about a month, then the middle of the blade chipped and it is large enough that fixing it wouldn't be an option so I'm very disappointed after being so happy with my purchase. The quality doesn't seem to be there, it's a pretty knife but not multifunctional. If you want an over priced vegetable knife, this is a great knife.

Beautiful Knife

I've had a chance to use this several times and the blade performs quite well. The knife arrived sharp....I sharpened it a bit more so I could test it properly. I do keep all of my knives extremely sharp so I wanted it to be on an even playing field when I reviewed it.I will say that most of my work in the kitchen is done with larger knives, typically in the 8 inch range so it took a little time for me to adjust to using this mid-sized knife. The blade itself is beautifully designed and actually cut very well in my tests. The handle is also very attractive....but I've found that it can be a little slippery when wet. There are a few things in the kitchen that lend well to a knife of this size, so while this will never be my primary knife in the kitchen, it does have a place. Overall, this is a really beautiful knife that is a good addition to our kitchen cutlery.

Quickly became my favorite kitchen knife

This is a beautiful knife that is very comfortable to hold and extremely sharp. I love that the blade is not too big and not too small, so it can be used for a variety of needs. I find myself reaching for this knife much more than others since I've added it to my collection. It slices so smoothly and the blade is thick enough to handle stacked finely diced vegetables with ease. I love the marble handle, it is smooth and ergonomic to hold without causing hand fatigue. I have some others that are much heavier weight but prefer the size and weight of this knife, it is more user friendly. This is a great multipurpose and ideal size knife that will last for several years with proper care. Highly recommended!
