Great for making omelets!

Egg-cellent omelet turner. They're short and that's okay. The front edge is wide so they work great. So far I have used them to make several french omelets and a pan-seared steak. I go in "backwards" with the spatula pressing along the edge of the pan to loosen the egg from the pan. Going in backwards, the thin edge of the spatula contours just right against the pan and works perfectly. Because of the small size and non-stick property, this spatula might not be the right tool for every job, but I bought these specifically for making omelets and they are wonderful. Also, they're affordable, super easy to clean, high heat resistant, and colorful. And you get two! Highly recommend.

Looks like decent quality - disappointed with size

Well, the marketers certainly do a good job of making things LOOK bigger than they are. With words in the description like "shovel" and "wide" I thought they would be much bigger. They don't specifically give you the dimensions of the "head" but I guess you could do the math (subtracting the handle length) if you were so inclined. I thought about returning them but for 10 bucks, I'm sure I'll find a use for them.Other than that, the construction seems solid, looks like they will hold up to heat and with the one-piece design (the whole unit being encased in silicone) they are very easy to clean. The wacky colors should make them easy to find in a drawer ;)

Update to my previous review.

This is my updated review after using this great spatula for the first time this morning (while making pancakes). This is one handy dandy spatula. I love the width making turning the pancakes a snap. No more oozing of the batter should I turn them too early.My original post: I broke my go to spatula that had a built in stand which I loved but couldn't find it. I did need a wide one for flipping foods like pancakes and omelets. It arrived in time and in intact and came with two in a package. I thought I didn't need two but they didn't offer it as a single. When received, I realized it may come in handy when you have something wide that needs flipping, you can place one on each side so it doesn't fall apart like when turning fish in a pan on the stove top. So far so good. This is not a hard spatula, it is more flexible than that (made of silicone) but not too much.
