These containers seal well, clean up well, come with a measuring cup, and include labels for easy identification (for instance, high-gluten flour versus all-purpose flour). I can stack them to save space. Their squared design maximizes my storage space when compared with my round containers. With the price of everything going up up up, these containers allow you to buy in bulk without worrying about keeping things safely sealed. I have not used them for cold foods, but think they might be handy for storing huge batches of potato salad or other dishes when serving a crowd.
