Self-Stirring Coffee Cup - Innovative Magnetic Vortex Design Actually Works
I have come across many gimmicky coffee cup iterations in the past, some great, some not so much. The Shelprojsu is probably the most innovative cup I have seen so far. It automatically stirs any beverage you put in it, whether it's coffee, hot chocolate, or some mixed drink powder beverage. The cup very ingeniously stirs the beverage at such a speed as to create a controlled vortex that properly stirs your drink - hot or cold.Before I opened the package, the thought went through my head that this may be a hard-to-clean gizmo that would end up in the back of my dead gizmo closet. But when I opened it and inspected it, the spinner is cleverly a magnet thing which, with the help of a magnetic motor, spins the spinner at very high speed to create the stir. The spinner is magnetic and holds very well to the bottom of the cup. It would be damn near impossible to swallow this small piece of plastic as it stays magnetically fixed to the bottom and does not budge from there unless dislodged by a spoon or your finger - neither having any business in your cup anyway. Especially since this does the job of a spoon or stirrer.Cleaning is simple and quick. The interior of the cup is stainless steel and easily rinses out any kind of drink you put in it. A mild dish soap can degrease coffee or chocolate stains without any worry of damage. You will have to wash this by hand every time, but don't you clean your mugs by hand anyway? The cup has a power button on the top part of the handle and can quickly be actuated by your thumb. The button I have found to be tricky. Turns out you have to long press to turn it on and double tap to start the spinning and double tap to stop. The cup has a charging port below the top inside part of the handle with a rubber grommet that keeps things dry when cleaning and using it. An LED display shows you how much juice is remaining and the temperature of your drink for maximum geekiness.The cup is nice to hold and looks great with an octagonal shape, rubber bottom for soft landings, and a lid to keep liquid in while on the move. I was very pleased with this acquisition and applaud the ingenuity of such a thing. I think this works best with drinks that tend to settle sediments on the bottom like hot chocolate and powder drinks, but broth also comes to mind. This is the perfect gift for warm beverage drinker. I'm loving mine!
