    ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

These are the real deal! Looks and feels like it would last me a lifetime, I could probably pass this on to my next generation. High quality, very durable, and very well made. I couldn't be any happier. My piers absolutely love this as well, I even have a coworker who wants to buy himself one now after taking a look at mine! Hopefully I never have to buy another bone picker ever again. Definitely one of my greatest purchases! So happy I didn't settle with something cheaper, this was and is worth every penny.

    KAI to KAI

Shun DM0901 Fish bone tweezers? Who in their right mind would spend $50 for a pair? You could buy another pair of bone tweezers also made by KAI, DG2073ENG for $9. Keep in mind, KAI also mfrs Shun Classics knives.Despite being made by KAI, the ENG $9 job is shorter in length. Overall Shun length is 5.875" vs ENG 4.125."The tedious task of removing pin bones from fish fillets, the extra length and heft of the Shun is welcomed. Both are s/s and the jaws are finely matched. No where stated, what grade stainless steel is employed? In fact, both are excel pulling out a whisker or two (a test), removing slivers and plucking eyebrows too. If you like heft, think Shun......Shun vs ENG is 64/24 grams respectively. Maybe for petite hands the ENG would be perfect.I plan to keep the ENG and give as a gift. Unfortunately, buying blind from Amazon, you know don't how their products actually feel(s) without eyeballing and weighing in your hands. Is the Shun worth five times the Kai ENG? Buy both and return one or the other, decide for yourself.Let me put it this way, "if you hang around with other cooks, don't leave your DM0901 lying around, it just might disappear!?"

    Fantastic

I regularly cook deboned salmon filets from ButcherBox at least once a week, however every few filets when cleaning the fish I come across a few bones that were missed during processing. I got tired of struggling to get those bones out and after researching a few bone tweezers settled on these Shun 4” tweezers. The tip is edged well enough that just getting a pinch on a small piece of the bone is enough to pull out the whole thing in one quick motion. I have several Shun knives as well and all their products are fantastic quality. If you’re on the fence about spending a little more on these tweezers than other brands, what you get is a more grippy design and better ease of use than a no name cheap brand. I got these on sale when they were cheaper than other brand name options from Global and others; would highly recommend.

    catfish whiskers

Have you ever plucked fish eyebrows? Well as it turns out fish are very vain. I use this giddy up to make fish all pretty for fish date night. I only gave it four stars because it is quite large and I have child hands. You might have larger hands and make some fish very pretty with these tongs though.

    Terrible tweezers

I love shun knives and own many of them. But these fish boning tweezers are terrible! I’ve had them for years and have used them several times and they do not grab the bones. They slide right off! I wish I had returned them when I could have.
