This mug is very solid. It’s large and deep with a great handle. The thickness of it keeps things nice and warm. Perfect for morning oatmeal and evening soup time. I’m so glad I kept looking till I found this perfect mug!!
Perfect size
This is (IMHO) the quintessential oatmeal bowl. I have fostered a daily oatmeal (porridge for UKers) habit for over 25 years. Recently, I broke my final branded version of this bowl. But rejoice, I found this "unbranded" (no mark on the bottom) version here on Amazon. Relief! Buying several for my cupboard. FWIW: I use Bob's Red Mill Organic Old Fashioned Rolled Oats; I microwave (just my pref) them for 5 minutes at half power; I mix in 1 Tbs of dark brown sugar, 1/4 c. organic unsweetened applesauce (Whole Foods 365), and some frozen (thawed or nuked) wild blueberries; I finish it all off with 1/4 c. of Blueberry Kefir (I prefer the 1%). Enjoy.
For those who come from the cultures that involve dipping toast, bread & butter, crackers, pastries, in their coffee or milk.... Your house NEEDS this mug.
