Essential kitchen tool for any baker!
Oh, boy! I’ve been so excited to receive this mat and I’m so happy it’s arrived! I have so many uses I want to try out with this mat, so today I did some testing. What I do know about this “ JJOO Large Bread Rolling Cookie kneading Baking Dough Silicone Mat” is that its surface is extra large; 27” at the widest edge and about 20” high. The real highlights for me are that it is food grade safe, heat and oven safe (up to 500 degrees), and non stick.My main use is for rolling out bread dough to make sausage bread several times a year. I normally do this on my marble kitchen counter, so I often guess at the width and length when rolling, resulting in some odd shaped loaves. These mats have built in measurements right on the mat, as well as conversions and baking guides. Everything is there at your fingertips. It’s so great not to have to scrape off the sticky dough remnants and floury mess from the counter with sponges and rags. Now I can just put the silicone mat in the sink and rince it off.The mat is really quite durable. Today I put a hot cookie sheet on it, right out of the oven, and it was just fine. This will be an essential tool in my kitchen for years to come. Priced at less than $8, this is an excellent value an no baker should be without one!

The BEST pastry sheet! Works better than any I've ever owned

It's really big and has all the measurements you'd ever need
This is big. I'm not sure how people actually bake on it because it's bigger than any cookie sheet I have. But I love the size and measurements on it. I bake pies from time to time, including pizza pies. I love having the perfect circles and measurements to guide me in sizing the dough.It is plenty big enough to spread out and cut dough, whether cookies, pizza or pie crust, then simply rinse in the sink, leaving the counter clean.Another thing I like about this is that it has conversion charts for when you're following a foreign recipe or need to know how cups and various measures inter relate.When finished, it rolls up to easily fit in a narrow space.

Perfect addition to your kitchen!
For $7.99, this baking mat is a total steal. I cannot stress enough!I tested it out with an expansive dinner recipe the other day because I haven't needed to make bread recently, though I do. Very large silicone pad
So this is a super large silicone pad intended for use in baking. It says it can handle oven temperatures for basically everything except broiling.I've wanted one of these mats forever. I'm an amateur home baker, and I like making breads, cakes, cookies, brownies, muffins, and pies. I realized when I got this that it's too big to sit in any of my pans. So I actually can't use it in my oven.The measurements on it are accurate and I did compare them against others.The writing is clear and legible. The red print is very obvious against the whiteish background.I do have a feeling like the red print is going to rub off super quickly. I don't think this was a great option for me but it is as described in the listing.
