Wonderful product

I love this product. It allows me to prepare my food products on a clean surface. I no longer have to rewash the counter because someone put something down on the counter between phases of making baked goods. Now I simply need to fold the mat in half when waiting on bread to rise and then unfold to rework as needed.This is going to come into use during holidays as well. I can avoid messes when cutting the turkey and ham and don’t have to worry about juices getting everywhere.May is thick enough to last a really long time. The lip around the edge is perfect to retain a few millimeters of liquid. The bottom of the mat is not sticky, but maintains contact with the counter so it does not slip/slide/move when kneading dough. When done, washed and dried, it rolls up tightly and stores easily to await the next baking adventure.

Sourdough bread mat

I wish I bought this sooner in my sourdough bread baking journey. This makes clean up so easy. My counters no longer get sourdough build up on them that is difficult to scrape of later. It does slide a little on my quarts counter so I make sure to wipe my counter with a wet towel then place mat on top and it sticks perfectly. Super light weight as well and I just hang it on a hook in my pantry when I 'm done so it takes up minimal space. I have gifted this to many other sourdough bakers who love it as well

Really, really like! I specifically picked this one (brand) out because of the thickness. I keep the mat rolled - (Not folded) - when not in use. Unfurls nicely and grabs onto my counter top (Formica). It allows me to roll out dough this way and that and the mat STAYS PUT. So helpful. Plus keeps residual flour within the mat. Clean up is easy.I bought the 28" x 20" as well as the 32" x 24". Very happy!

Bought, used it, almost returned it.

Great size & thickness. Doesn't move around, it stays on the surface. I used it to make homemade flour tortillas, working the dough & rolling it out, and it worked perfectly. The slightly raised edges helps reduce mess & makes for easier clean up, and doesn't get in the way of what you're doing.I will say when it arrived I noticed fold marks, so by itself it doesn't lay perfectly flat; however it doesn't impact performance at all because it's soft & pliable, so rolling tortillas out - not an issue.After I washed and had it for a few days, I started to think it was a defect bc it didn't go away, I was having a hard time storing it, bc it's too big to roll neatly & too big. Thought I should to return it. BUT because of the fold lines, I tried folding it up and huzzah!So easy to store now. (See before & after pics.) Just measure the size of your work surface bc it takes up space.
