This is a great set of mats! The only snafu is that the standard US measurement in inches is at the top and left side of the mat. When I'm rolling out something that needs to be measured, I need to turn it upside down so the measurements will be closer to my working area. Other than that, it's perfect! And I appreciate the smaller mat for rolling out flatbread or flour tortillas!
Great mat, and, since its flexible, I can roll it up to store, taking up much less space than my giant wooden pastry board.
The silicone baking mats are a little sticky at first, but that goes away as you use them. I like having two different sizes. They do not slip all over the counter which is such a big help.
I know these are baking mats, but I keep mine up 24/7. They are so easy to work on, with all my appliances. You won't burn counters. Use a cutting board as these mats are not for that purpose obviously. That said, I DO love to bake, and these had the size I needed to spread out and get a double batch of bread or English muffins made up and room to rise. Conversion charts and measurements along the perimeter are a huge plus! The beautiful soft blue lines and edging, with the burlap color (and look) center is a homey look, not ultra modern or grannies kitchen. I'm thrilled and very pleased with this product.
This is exactly what I needed! It’s so easy to clean, I just pour on soap and hot water and scrub it. I think you can also put it in the dishwasher. Such good quality. It’s thick and non slip. Takes a lot of force to try to slide it around. Easy to roll up to store. Really versatile, I use it for everything. Kneading dough, rolling out tortillas or other baked goods, measuring things out accurately. Makes me feel better than doing things directly on the counter top. Definitely recommend.
Love these baking matts. I leave them in place on my counter. Makes general cleaning easier and makes my kitchen look nice
