Check your mixer size before ordering.
I really don't know how many stars to give because the tilt head mixer I have is 4 quarts instead of 5. It's an older model kitchenAid tilt mixer, but I just assumed it was 5 quart. I do think I'll get some use out of these liners because I grind my own meat and though I wouldn't expect cake batter to stay upright in them I think they'll be good catchalls for meat grinding. The lid fits very well and does provide some stability but I can't say I'd trust it 100% to stay standing without firm foods in it. One drawback I saw was this silicone seems to attract every dust and dirt molecule to it. you can even see some dog hair on the black one in the picture I took. I'm sure this won't be an issue once they are wet but you wouldn't want dog hairs drawn to it when it's dry.

Making multiple batches? You need these!
Had never heard of these before and holy smoke are they amazing. I wish I would have had these at Christmas when I was making 8 different batches of cookies! They would have saved me a lot of work, and that's exactly what you want to use these for.Do make sure you verify your bowl size - these only fit the 5 quart bowls, as the description says. But once you get it in, it's a perfect and snug fit, it went in and out of the bowl very easily. Everything that I have mixed so far in these, there's no residue or other oddities, everything is just getting mixed perfectly as though it was your regular bowl! I even tried my special attachment to mix butter into flour for pie dough and that one worked really well too. I haven't had a need for the spouts yet personally, but I imagine in some things they are extremely helpful. I will say they're a little awkward to hand wash because of the flexibility of them and they kind of move where you're trying to wash, but they go just fine in the dishwasher instead.Quick note - the description and pictures don't seem to make this clear. You get one red bowl, one black bowl, and one lid for each of them, so four pieces total. Overall I highly recommend this, and might pick up some more before next holiday season!

Convenient Idea but Fit and Stability Could Be Better
These silicone bowl liners are a clever concept and helpful for quick baking or cooking tasks. I like that they let you switch between mixtures without washing the main bowl each time, and the included lids are nice for storing leftovers directly in the liner. The silicone material is easy to clean and truly dishwasher safe. However, the fit isn’t as secure as I expected. Sometimes the liner shifts while mixing, especially with thicker batters or dough, which can be a little frustrating. It works best for lighter mixtures rather than heavy mixing. The quality is decent, and the red and black colors are attractive, but the stability could definitely be improved. It’s a useful accessory for convenience, just not something I’d rely on for all baking tasks.

If you bake a lot, this is a real quality-of-life upgrade
ASIN: B0G3TWTZ5C $39.99Silicone Bowl Liners with Lids for KitchenAid 5 Qt Tilt-Head Stand Mixers, Mixing Bowl Inserts, Kitchen Mixer Accessories for Baking & Cooking, Dishwasher Safe, No Replacement Bowls Needed (Red & Black)Description:These silicone bowl liners are designed for 5-quart tilt-head KitchenAid stand mixers and are not compatible with bowl-lift models. The set includes three food-grade silicone inserts with matching lids, allowing you to mix, cover, and store dough or batter without switching bowls. They are dishwasher safe and rated for use with both hot and cold ingredients.Review:My mom absolutely loves these. They work exactly as designed, and they’ve turned out to be far more useful than I expected--I mean, like "wildest dreams" level of goodness. You still have to scrape the bowl when ingredients ride up the sides, but it’s noticeably easier with the silicone insert than with a bare metal bowl. Cleanup is a breeze, and the stainless bowl underneath stayed completely pristine and didn’t even need washing. The lids are a big win, since she can proof dough or stick something straight into the fridge overnight without transferring it. Between the main bowl and the two inserts, this effectively tripled her usable bowl space during baking. If you have the right size mixer, these are a must-buy. I just wish they made them for my (bigger) mixer.

Not useful
Total waste of time and money. These do nothing expected. They are flimsy and crush under the slightest pressure. While they do fit inside the mixing bowl that’s where their usefulness ends. Honestly, even that doesn’t make them very useful because once you remove them, you can’t do much with them. You still have to clean them, which is what you’d have to do with the regular bowl anyway. I do not recommend this product.

Perfect for the mixer bowl. Soft food-grade silicone.
These are made for mixer bowls and especially good for when you are mixing several different items for the same meal. So with these two silicone bowls plus the glass mixing bowl you can do three different mixes for the same meal before washing anything. They are soft flexible silicone so they will lay flat in about three inches of drawer space. They can also be used sans bowl and will stand alone and keep their shape. The tops seal so you can mix ahead of time and refrigerate with the top on or keep heated food warm. They seem to be a good value as they are quite durable. They can be used to toss a salad and other sorts of mixing. These are food grade silicone so they are dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, and microwave safe. Be careful if you use these in the microwave because the heated contents could warp the silicone bowl. Food grade silicone should not leech any plastic into your food. The manufacturers box label states that it contains three bowls but there are only two in agreement with the Amazon description.

Works great
These fit into my stainless steel bowl perfectly. I love that there is a spout. The cover fits snug but not air tight. The silicon bowl isnt that structurally sound but to chill dough it would be fine. This seriously saves me from having to stop and clean my bowl between different mixes.
