Love these
These are the perfect muffin/cupcake size. I love that these stand up on their own so I don't have to use a muffin pan. I just line them up on a cookie sheet. They also make great little bowls for sorting all sorts of things. I've used them for cookie decorating sprinkles, beads, and as individual condiment bowls. They wash easily in the dishwasher and hold up well to baking in the oven.
Being reusable, THAT is My favorite aspect of these baking cups.__This is my first experience with using silicone baking cups instead of the traditional paper ones, and I am very pleased with the results. I will say that these cups are smaller than anticipated but I’ve added photos in the review so you can see an actual measurement. These are only slightly smaller than the muffins I am used to making, but are by all means an acceptable size. I mean, hey, that will cut a few calories. Right? Or just eat an extra muffin if thats the choice. SMILES__Muffins come out of the baking cups very easily and clean up is super simple. Though these are dishwasher safe, I feel it is even easier to simple hand wash and dry. Up to the User.__The baking cups have a temperature tolerance of 230º C which translates to 446ºF for heat .. and -40ºC which is -104ºF meaning that it may be used for baking as well as freezing, so that is a plus in comparison to paper cups__I would consider these to be a great addition to a kitchen supplies basket for someone who is just setting up housekeeping, a college student who may only have a toaster oven, someone who may have limited space__These are not limited as use for baking muffins, as they are great for baking egg dishes -think omelet in a cup shape. My GRANDkinds love these as they are easy to freeze for later to thaw and reheat as needed. There are so many ideas for using these ie left over spaghetti, chili, soup, anything that is freezer friendly, then pop them out of the cup and into a suitable zip top bag to retrieve as needed. You’re welcome. SMILES__BOTTOM LINE: Yes, I am super pleased with these silicone cups and would choose them again for sure.
item works as it should- i did expect them to be bigger.
These are great muffin cups EXCEPT they are NOT standard muffin pan size. They are about 1/3 smaller than typical muffin pans. This does not affect their usefullness but it does create a much smaller muffin and kind of makes your muffin pans useless. There is so much gap around the silicone muffin cup that you will end up spilling and giving yourself a big mess to clean up.These are quite sturdy so the solution is to use a cookie sheet and place the muffin cups alone on a cookie sheet instead of using a muffin pan.You will get more of a bite size muffin so perhaps more healthy for you anyway. The muffins easily removed from the cups with no sticking. They silicone cups were easy to hand wash as you basically just needed to rinse them off. The batter didn't stick much at all.Overall they are easy to use, colorful and have a great non-stick property. Nice to not have the paper waste of disposable or have to do a bunch of spraying with oil to try and keep stuff from sticking. If they were standard muffin pan size I would have given 5 stars.
These are bright and super easy to use, as well as clean. I was doubtful on if they'd really stand on thier own when pouring batter in. I honestly didn't think that I could just put the silicon liner down on a flat pan and pour batter into it and it wouldn't collapse. When it didn't, I was still not ready to believe. There was still the baking process. They baked great. They cooled perfectly. Frosted like a dream. Peeled easier than paper! Everything was perfect. Clean up was also easy. I hand washed mine (personal preference) but they are dishwasher safe, according to the manufacturer.I totally recommend these if you're keeping the cupcakes at your house but, not if you're taking them someplace. They are totally worth their weight in cake, not to accidentally get left behind.
I was excited to find these silicone baking cups because I bake 24 muffins about three times a month and even though I have good quality muffin pans with a nonstick surface even when I grease the muffin cups some of the crust still sticks and it's a pain to wash each individual little cup. I am very disappointed that these colorful cups are are considerably smaller than a standard muffin cup and would only make muffins about 3/4 the size of a normal muffin
