This silicon butter dish is fantastic, it keeps my butter soft and I love it, also the butter stays fresh you just change the water every few days. It's easy to clean but best thing about this butter dish is that I don't need to remember to take out the butter first thing in the morning anymore and one more thing you will not see any black spots in or around your butter and the water doesn't even touch the butter.
Works OK. Butter must be softened to fit in container. Holds 1 1/2 sticks of butter. When it is empty, more butter must be softened but this is inconvenient if more butter is needed right away. We keep our house at 68 degrees in winter. The butter in the crock is not any softer than in a butter dish. I will keep it to try it in summer. Besides I like the looks of it.
Not the best item I have ever ordered. The butter slides down to the bottom. I ordered a ceramic one which works so much better.
Really nice butter crock. I love it and used almost the moment I got it. It easily holds over a stick of butter. The silicone is well made and easy to clean.
I am happy with the quality of the silicone that makes this Butter crock and how it looks. It is very floppy when empty but it does stand sturdy and seals well when it filled with butter (and water). It does keep the butter soft for a while and it does keep the water for a while! (even though i still change the reservoir as often as I can ) I still feel like I would prefer a ceramic crock but this is a really good alternative to that. Super easy to keep clean and to re-fill.
