So handy for baking!

Seriously loving this neat funnel for my stand mixer. I have one of the bowl shield + spout combo things, but I never use it because it's cumbersome, bulky, and is hand wash only!That's why I like this funnel--it's so slick how it attaches right into the front of the mixer head (where you'd attach a pasta roller), and since it's nice flexible silicone, you can kind of push it down how you need it to be positioned (in case the bottom isn't right over the mixing bowl). It's super handy because you don't have to stop your mixer every time you want to add an ingredient, it washes clean quickly and easily, and it's collapsible so I can store it in the drawer with my kitchen towels and hot pads.I bake a lot, but not at the same volume as I used to (think single batches of cake or cookies at a time, not three and four of each recipe!) so I've transitioned down to using my smaller tilt-head KA mixer, and this pouring funnel lets me keep my efficiency going even when my output is a lot smaller. I love it for the convenience and the way it keeps my kitchen counters from getting messy with flour and sugar!

Still works pretty good for an off-brand mixer

My stand mixer isn't a KitchenAid; it's some weird off brand so that little nubby thing on the funnel doesn't have a place to plug into. That disclaimer being made, the funnel still worked well enough. The nub was a little bit in the way, but all in all, using the funnel was still more effective than trying to carefully add my flour into the mixer without it. The mouth is a nice fit for the opening on my splash-guard (is that what that thing is called?), and the inner curve of the funnel fits alright, too.I may do a slight modification and snip that nub off so that the funnel sits more upright on my particular mixer. That nub feels like it's solid all the way through, so nipping it off shouldn't affect the functionality or stability.

Game-Changer for Adding Flour/Sugar to a Stand Mixer

This silicone flour funnel is a great accessory for a KitchenAid stand mixer and has made adding dry ingredients much cleaner. It significantly reduces flour clouds and mess compared to pouring directly into the bowl.The wide-mouth, foldable design works well and helps prevent splashing and clogging while the mixer is running. The silicone is sturdy, flexible, and easy to clean, and I appreciate that it folds down for compact storage.My only small wish is that it were a bit longer and angled more directly toward the bowl. I’ve found I need to position it very close to the bowl opening; otherwise, a little flour or sugar can fall outside.Overall, still a very useful baking tool that makes mixing much easier and cleaner, just be mindful of placement when pouring.

Funnel makes adding dry or wet ingredients so easy

Every time I have tried to add dry ingredients to the mixer, I end up with flour coating every part of the mixer base and bottom of the head unit. The chute and cover that came with it pop off quite easily so I don't like using that so this funnel takes care of all this. It folds down flat and is easy to expand and attach to the head unit and lines up great with the bowl. The funnel is made of the same silicone as my hot pads and oven gloves. It is easy to clean by hand if I am going to reuse it later that day or putting it in the dishwasher for next time. My daughter in law's mother baked a lot so I am likely going to get one for her too. Hopefully she will gift back some goodies then!Overall grade: A

Handy Funnel makes Adding Flour Easier!

This flour funnel cut down on the mess and difficulty of adding flour while the mixer was running.Because it is made of silicone, it is easy to put in place and remove. I don’t think it would harm either the beater or the funnel if they were to come in contact with each other.This funnel does collapse some to store it more easily.If you use your mixer for breads or batter making, I would highly recommend this flour funnel. This funnel made mixing up my favorite recipes a little less messy! It made it so much easier to add my dry ingredients without hitting the side of the mixer with my measuring cup. The thick silicone opens up and folds down with ease, making usage and storage a breeze. It is a little shy of reaching the mixing bowl when installed, but it still works good.
