Hoping I like these handle covers
Service was great from this seller. Received products very quickly.I haven't actually used the handle holders yet, but they do fit the pans for which I ordered them. Seller supplied a long list of instructions on how NOT to use them as well as how TO use them. This information would be beneficial BEFORE purchasing them as it might help a buyer make a better decision whether to buy them or not, especially those with gas stoves. I ordered both black and blue - one set for a gift. Am a little concerned about the suitability for a gift due to the cautions emailed to me.Sample of "cautions" -1. Do not forget to remove the hot handle holder when cooking with cast iron in a hot oven. If you do not remove the handle holder before putting your cookware into a hot oven you might burn your hands when taking the skillet out of the oven even though the handle holder is on.2. The handle holder will only work as supposed to if used on a skillet that is the right size for the stove plate, otherwise, the handle holder becomes warm from the heat coming from the stove plate.The Hot Handle Holder can only protect from the heat coming from the skillet handle. If the heat is coming from the stove plate then the hot handle holder can get warm because it is designed to insulate heat from inside, not from heat sources outside. So it is vital to choose a stove plate that is the right size for the skillet so that the hot handle holder is not heated from the outside.If the handle holder is used with gas stove, be extra careful so that the handle holder doesn't come too close to the flame which might ruin the handle cover.

Well made- pieces fit perfect on large cast iron skillet. I needed the smaller side handle cause skillet is heavy & need 2 hands occasionally without burning.Smaller 3rd handle piece is on handle of smaller stainless skillet but short cause handle is longer. Satisfied all in all

Does what it's supposed to
I ordered these for a 6" mini cast iron skillet and both the large and small pot holders came on and off easily. The company was nice enough to follow-up my purchase with an email containing tips for using and maintaining them that is appreciated, These insulate from the inside, so you have to be careful about not exposing them to a heat source from the exterior while cooking or you could be grabbing a hot pot holder when you are not expecting to. That's why I bought this set. I was concerned the smaller holder would have too snug of a fit to go on and off of the pan handle easily while I was cooking with my baby skillet, but that was not the case. It worked fine, I just needed to use my spatula to hold the pan a bit while I pushed the handle on to keep the lightweight pan from moving off of the burner. That probably wouldn't be an issue with a larger cast iron skillet.

Nothing to brag about
The small holder works great on my small 6” skillet but the larger holder with my regular size cast iron skillet is not so good. It doesn’t grip that well and it’s hard to keep the skillet from turning when you lift it. The back handle holder doesn’t stay on the handle but has to be placed on the skillet each time you need it. So overall the only one that’s worth using is for the small skillet. I went back to the cloth cover for my large skillet

Great replacement for fabric ones
These work really well. I had fabric ones that were worn out and looked ratty. These look really nice and do not get hot at all. I really like the grabber piece for my largest skillet as it has a support handle on the other side and is difficult to manage when it’s full. They tend to lean more on the blue side of turquoise, but are a very pretty color.
