It works well
Solves the problem of getting the cheesecake out of the pan without cracking it, having to freeze it, putting foil or parchment paper under it and all the other things people try. what a great idea. I got two of them. Also makes clean up of the springform pan a piece of cake - no pun intended.

Does exactly what you need it to, but is maybe a bit thin
Just used this for the first time baking a cake. I wouldn't normally have done this type of cake in a spring form but decided to just so I could test this out.I don't have much to say on this one because it did what it says it does and is such a specific item I can't expect it to do anything else. the cake didn't need me to oil the pan, and it didn't stick. It fit well in my 9 inch spring form and had enough overlap that the edge ring could maybe go up an inch or 2 bigger. The only thing I would point out is that it is pretty thin. The thickness is nowhere near something like a silpat, so it may wear faster and would be much easier to accidentally cut. For me this isn't a big deal on this specific item because I think if it was thicker it may be harder to fit to different sized pans and would take up more of the limited volume. If i needed it more often I might have a different opinion on that.

A little too big for my 9" springform pan
This would be absolutely perfect if the piece for the bottom was about 3/8 Inch smaller in diameter and the strip for the sides was several inches shorter. I was able to use it and my cheesecake didn't stick to it, but it was a chore keeping the bottom flat and the side strip in position while I put the graham cracker crust in the bottom. There's probably a neat way of doing this that isn't as difficult, but what it is I don't know - most likely because I'm rather new to springform pans and classic cheesecake recipes. I am happy with it, though I'll shorten the strip that goes around the side and trim the bottom piece so that they're easier to deal with. Both pieces are well made and didn't shrink or disform in the oven, so I believe I'll be using both pieces for years to come. If it weren't for the slight size discrepancy I'd give this 5 stars.

Worth the Money
Not too shabby. I really didn't know if I would need this or not, most of my springform pans are already non-stick. But I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Well, let me tell you that this is truly worth it. Some of my cakes, and cheesecakes are fussy enough that having just a little extra help in the extraction department is never a bad thing. It fits my pans very well, and when it comes time to take off the ring, this band around it works like magic. I have noticed a visible change in my cheesecakes, and it makes them look more pale and somehow more appealing. I have not noticed any change in taste due to these phenomena. It delivers a quality cake, whether it be cheesecake or regular cake and I have also not noted any significant addition to the baking time. It cleans a treat and stores flat in my baking drawer.

Works like a charm
I am very happy with how these silicone protectors work. They are easier to remove than parchment paper, and don't stick to the food. The bottom mat is slightly larger than the bottom of my pan, maybe by a 32nd of an inch. The side strips are quite long, allowing for a sufficient overlap to seal the connection. The side strip stands straight up and does not stick to the sides of the pan.For the recipe in the photo, I inserted the sides strip first and then the bottom mat with the tiny edges folding up onto the side strip. My recipes had a cookie type bottom which obviously provided an extra-good seal for the bottom. Nothing liquid leaked out the bottom or sides. The next time I will put the bottom in first and see if there is any difference between the two methods.Although the bottom mat is a fixed size and therefore limits in which pans I can use it, I am happy that I can use the side strip with various sizes of pans with only the amount of overlap changing. This will greatly reduce the amount of parchment paper I will need to buy - and throw away! The only downside is that there was no product information included which would have been nice.I love baking and I am looking forward to taking advantage of these pan protectors more in the future as I think they will save me both time and money.

May or may not fit your pen, depending upon the manufacture.
I bought this for a 20 year old 9 inch springform pan, that works great, and never leaks. I am however, tired of not being able to get the cheesecake off of the base of the pan, so that I can cut it, without scratching the pan. I bought this mat, and it is too big for my 9 inch pan (see photo). Since I have a 10 inch springform pan. I decided to try it out in that one. It does leave a gap around the edge, but at least I can get majority of the cake out of the pan (see photo). So, recently I ordered a new 9 inch springform pan to see if it would fit better, because maybe the dimensions have changed slightly over the years, and it’s even smaller than my current pan. So this mat definitely doesn’t fit in that one either. Until looking at the silicone mat, I figured that all of my pans were based on a standard size, that all manufacturers use. It never occurred to me that cookware manufacturers could vary in size like clothing manufacturers.
