works great. I'm always nervous taking out the glass plate in microwave to clean it, worried I would drop and break it. This solved my issue. It's also great when taking out my hot soup bowls without burning my hands. I took of one star because I think the price is a little high. If it goes down I would be ordering one for all my friends and family.
I was tired of my husband leaving paper towels on the glass plate of our microwave. I thought there had to be a cover that could be rinsed off without having to take the glass plate to the sink. Sure enough - they make silicone plate covers. Works great - very easy to wipe off and when you put glass dishes on it, it now has a padded base. This is just what I was looking for!
I found this at a better price than my local store. It does the work for my microwave, just a little thinner. Still I had used for pots as well with not issues.
