So you need to keep these on a cookie sheet when using bc they are floppy. But that’s fantatsic for getting the baked good out unscathed and makes it very easy to wash.Love these and use them all the time now!
Stability is an issue as these flop all over. But placing them on a metal baking tray resolves the issue. Better than metal mini muffin trays for removing baked goods. Because of their flexible nature you just push from underneath and item pops out. A breeze to clean. Fun colors.
These worked well for the stuff I baked in them.However, they are very floppy and need support underneath them at every stage of the baking process - filling the cups, transferring the cups to the oven, support while baking and then support when removing them from the oven.The pans were stained by either my batter or the non-stick cooking spray I used as "double insurance" in case anything stuck.Helpful tip: let whatever you are baking cool completely before trying to pop it out of the cups, or your treat will likely crack.
Using Trisha Yearwoods crock pot candy recipe, and a 1T scoop, I got 72 perfect 2-bite candies.All 72 popped right out of every cavity.Very easy to use, perfect for candy making.
think they are quite handy
A bit flimsy but $5.99 price was reasonable. Any more than that and I wouldn't have purchased them or kept them.
I have a Harvest Right Freeze Dryer and these silicone cooking cupcake mats fit the large size trays. i purchase a set of three, cut one in half and is perfect for two trays. Easy to pop the food out and easy clean up. I have purchased two more sets to use in my other three trays.
