Nice gloves for taking things out of the oven, and these have fingers! 🤗

Gloves are quite heatproof, and taking things out of the oven is easier with individual fingers on these gloves.I did find the length of the fingers on these gloves quite short. That didn't detract for the usability of them, and the gloves are big enough for my large hands to fit in. But the part between the fingers doesn't fit all the way between my fingers.

Goofy lookin mitts, but they work well

I've recently been looking for some oven mitts and pot holders because mine are getting grungy; I saw these and thought I'd give them a try.I guess it's because the mitts are so wide and the fingers are so short that these gloves are really goofy looking. They look even funnier on my hands and feel weirdly awkward because I'm used to gloves actually fitting snuggly (my old oven mitts are the kind that look like mittens). Nevertheless, there's no beauty contest for oven mitts and it's the function that's most important.I heated some water to boiling in a metal tea pot then used the gloves to pick up the pot from the sides (not the handle) and I felt absolutely no heat and the grip was good. Again, it was a little awkward coordinating my fingers and hands with them swimming a bit inside the gloves - but I got it done. So just to compare, I switched to my old oven "mittens" and did the same thing and it was then that I noticed that I had a better grip and ability to manipulate the positioning of the pot with the gloves, not my mittens. Hmm, color me impressed!The pot holders have a thickness due to the honeycomb design; however, the are very flexible. You can easily fold these around a hot pan handle to lift or move it. They will also work well as trivets should you need to put a hot pot/pan on the counter.It might take me some time to get accustomed to the gloves but I feel confident that they will function well and keep me from getting burned.

Easier to wear than some others.

I’m a big fan of silicone oven mitts, but I recently found these glove-style ones. This set comes with two oven mitts, two round potholders, and two square potholders. They’re all made well and lightweight. The potholders are made of sturdy silicone and can handle hot pots and pans from the stove burner easily. The oven mitts are one-size-fits-all, so they’re a bit loose on my hands. But they’re the same on both sides, so they work just as well on my left and right hands. The silicone is a bit thinner, but they still do the job just fine. Since they’re silicone, they’re easy to clean with soap and hot water. These potholders will be great for my candymaking because they give me more freedom of movement and gripping power while still protecting my hands.

I basically accidentally gave myself a reason to break these out the second I could.For the first time, I didn't feel the need to rush to get the cookie sheet out of the oven and set aside to cool. These mitts/gloves give you an extra few seconds before it becomes uncomfortable to hold things, and the silicone ensures a nice, "sticky" grip. They look huge, but they actually fit pretty snugly (in a good way) on my hands.I haven't had any reason to use the pot holders just yet, but I have high hopes for them! Definitely recommend.
