Good deal ($2 per pair), I haven't tried them yet. My only worry still would be the heat resistant. I want very short mitts that you can pop on and off your hand (with one hand) quickly.And I can't find exactly what I want for that, which is a mitt that is in between the size of these and the more standard size mitts. But these are pretty close to what I'm looking for. So good enough! (:

NOT good for oven mits
These are great for a short trip from the oven to the stove top. I do not believe they will allow a person to hold on to a hot pan for longer than 30 seconds.A travesty that they are not shipped with googly eyes. But those can be purchased separately.
