Sketchy “New” Status??

Update - item is great, works exactly as described but by all indications was an item shipped by Amazon that was a returned item. The seller initiated a very thoughtful conversation about my concerns, but no further action is needed. I thoroughly washed it, and it works very well.Item appears to be functional, hope it works as described. Unfortunately, the product appears to be a Used & Returned Item - not New - which I paid for New. The product appears to have flour caked on both the back and the front sides. Disgusting. However, it washes thoroughly with soapy warm water, so I will plan on keeping it, unless it doesn’t work as described.
