This form worked great! It is silicone, so yes, you need a baking sheet underneath. They are not designed to bake without. I have been using silicone forms for over 10 years, they hold up well and washes easily with a dish brush. they are not designed for batter, only dough. I rolled out the dough sections with a rolling pin to get a flat shape, then hand rolled into an even log, making sure they were not tapering at the edges. Hint: Weigh out sections equally, before you start so they all bake evenly. I also sprayed the form with pam, not one stuck or had any residue that would make it hard to clean. Hint: Lay a strip of masking tape on your counter and mark the length bun form. As you roll out each one, you now have a guide on how long to make them..

I haven’t used these molds yet. They are much smaller than expected. These are more kid size than adult size. I will use them, I’m sure. But the size was disappointing, even for a small eater! It’s not as big as a standard hot dog bun. What were they thinking?

Where has this been my whole life?My first job as a kid was at Subway. I completely forgot about the bread molds we used that were just like this, (but a red color I think).These do exactly as they are advertised to do, they are completely non stick, and my buns looked PERFECT.So, as far as this slap bracelet thing, I used it to give the buns a lil smack smack after putting the dough in the molds.
