Perfect for toddler
I have used these popsicle pans several times now they’re very easy to clean nothing folds up though they’re quite small but perfect for small hands and mouths. Actually when I give him a popsicle, I don’t even feel guilty if they ask for two.
These popsicle molds are a lot of fun, and are relatively easy to use. They look nice; I got the red color, and I think it's bright and cheerful. They function well if you take a few precautions. It took some trial and error for me to get it right. Here's what I learned:1. Fill it up a little less than the "max fill line."Inside the molds, there's a mark for the max fill line. If you fill it up to that line, it will probably cause issues during freezing. In my case, it caused the popsicle to split in half around the place where it attaches to the handle.2. Put something heavy on top while freezing.I found that the freezing process caused the handles to migrate up, creating a gap between the pop and the handle. To prevent that from happening, I put a couple of full ice trays on top of the mold (see pic), and that resulted in a perfectly secure pop with minimal gap :)I think $12.99 is a decent value for silicone popsicle molds, but the troubleshooting issues I describe above point to a design issue. This item would be better if the design was altered to accommodate the freezing process better. The lids fit in place just fine, but there needs to be a built-in method to secure/clamp the tops in place during the freezing process so they don't shift out of place the way they did for me.
Much bigger than I thought. Might be too big for a infant
These silicone popsicle molds are such a great find! The soft, food-grade silicone makes it easy to create fun frozen treats, and each cavity holds just the right amount (2oz), perfect for toddlers or small snacks. They work well with fruit puree, yogurt, or juice; everything freezes evenly and looks adorable once done. The only small downside is that the pops can be a little hard to remove at first; you have to shake or gently massage the mold a bit to get them out cleanly. Once you get the hang of it, it’s not a big issue. Cleaning is effortless, and I love that they’re reusable and eco-friendly.Pros:+ Great toddler-size portions+ High-quality, food-grade silicone+ Easy to clean and reusable+ Works well for a variety of treatsCons:- A little hard to remove pops; requires shaking or massagingOverall, these molds make it fun and simple to create healthy, homemade frozen snacks that kids and adults can enjoy!
My kid absolutely loves popsicles, and as a parent, I feel much more at ease giving him homemade ones than store-bought ones. There's just something about knowing exactly what goes into the treats he enjoys. This particular mold is fantastic; the size is medium, which is perfect because he tends to finish every last bite without any waste. It's great to see him enjoy something that's not only delicious but also made with ingredients I trust. One of my favorite recipes is a yogurt smoothie that I whip up using some agave syrup and a variety of frozen fruits. It’s a simple process, and the result is always a tasty treat that feels indulgent but is packed with nutrients. It’s a win-win situation—he gets a delightful snack, and I get peace of mind knowing exactly what he’s consuming.Overall, I can’t say enough good things about this popsicle mold. It’s been a game-changer in our kitchen, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to create wholesome, delightful frozen treats for their kids. Whether it’s a hot summer day or just a fun afternoon activity, making popsicles together has become a cherished tradition in our home.
