Please contact my lawyer about this.)(This might be a joke, to everyone else.)You do have to stretch this out to get it to a firm position to keep the lid on, but it does stretch and is pretty easy to place and remove.Very handy (particularly for example in a situation like mine where my pots and pans are hanging from the ceiling).Keeps your lid and pot or pan in the same place and don't need to worry about accidentally knocking off the lid and possibly having it fly across the room. Cause you know, that never happens. ( Sure it doesn't.)Silicone, so it is easy to clean, I think it says dishwasher safe, but seriously, it should just wipe clean with a slightly damp towel, no problem.If you store any of your lids and pans together, or need to and just don't have a way to keep them neat tidy and together, now you have another option. The pot girdle!So far I like this and am more than comfortable recommending it to anyone. I've even already ordered a second one to try on a tricky crock pot.Most of my testing so far has been on my 16 quart stockpot. I did have to try it in a few different configurations before settling on the "right" one that fits it best.
