Suction cup
I do love the look of this product. It is easy to clean. I just wish these suction cups were stronger so the guard stays put when I push my body against it, since I am short.

This splash guard is made of a high-quality, flexible, water-resistant silicone. It is a good length to keep in front of you while washing dishes at the kitchen sink, and the height is good too to prevent splashes. The fit on my sink is unfortunately where this product loses a star for me. My stainless steel sink has an edge around it and the diameter of the suction cups meant to hold the splash guard in place is wider than the width of the edge, so it does not stay in place. I also tried suctioning it to the counter in front of the sink, but the suction cups don’t adhere to the formica countertop. It seems this splash guard would function well with a polished stone countertop and under-mount sink. The concept of this product is great. I had high hopes of keeping my clothes dry from all the splashes that happen during handwashing, but unfortunately this product did not perform well in my kitchen.
This is such a really cool little invention. I have a granite countertop and every time water splashes up on the counter seems to want to roll off more easily then roll back into the kitchen sink. This is super easy to apply as it is just simply suctions down to the countertop. It helps prevent the water from going over onto the cabinets and keeping it back into the sink.Very easy to clean as it is made of a silicone material. Just a mild soap and water does the trick. It fits super well as it is about 2 foot in length and covers most of the sink.I highly believe this is worth purchasing as it helps alleviate unnecessary water coming over the counters edge and onto the cabinets. There are multiple different colors to choose from however, I chose a purple. More so because it stands out and it’s very visible to the eye so you know it is there and there is no chance of knocking it or pushing it off. It should not fall off as it does have multiple suction cups at the bottom and hold on pretty darn well to the counter.I absolutely think this is one of the best inventions I’ve seen yet and recommend it to all.
I hate to be that person, but the suction cups just refuse to stay. Ive tried the edge of the counter, the actual sink, upside down, but it just ends up falling, getting into the sink, and kind generally getting in the way. Its about 3 inches tall, so if you are shorter or maybe the counter is at a bad angle, this become more in your way than helful. It also didnt quite fit our sink, so i had to find a different way for it to work. Even after i did, the suction cups to keep in place are mostly for show, cause they never suctioned on any surface i tried. Maybe it could work on glass, but truly, the counter nor sink material seemed to suitably match the suction cups.As for the other aspects, it does look nice and its very sanitary and easy to clean. It is indeed very water resistant and does provide a decent barrier, despite its lack of securing suction. Ive prevented a lot of water falling to our feet when we do dishes, which has been a relief, but im unsure if the fiddling with keeping it in place is worth the trade-off of preventing about 75% of water from falling to the floor.Overall:✔️prevents a good amount of spilling✔️cute, sanitary design✔️easy to clean❌️does not suction and secure well❌️doesnt fit within the lip of large sink❌️can kind of get more in your way
I’m sure this is probably good for something, somewhere, but I honestly cannot figure out what or where. Considering the hefty price tag, it’s pretty disappointing.I was hoping this would work as a flexible extension of the sink backsplash so water could not run behind (or between) the faucet and the countertop, or at least function as a barrier along the side/front of the sink. But it doesn’t do any of that. Honestly, I’m not sure what this is meant to be used for?…Maybe it works better with granite countertops, because no matter how I tried, I could not find a usable configuration on our standard two-basin kitchen sink. The back, front, and sides do not line up, and because of the molded shape, it cannot be bent or adjusted into a useful position around the edge. Cutting it might help, but even that is not a guarantee since the suction cups don’t hold tightly. If you can get them to stick at all, they quickly pop off, or it just tips over within a minute or two. This feels like a very overpriced novelty item. It didn’t work for us, not do I not see a practical way to use it, even with modifications.Assuming this was good for something, I probably wouldn’t want this on my countertop anyway. It’s not a very nice looking piece of modern decor. It’s truly quite obnoxious in both color and design/shape.Even if this thing were molded specifically for our sink, the suction cups worked, the price was reasonable (for what it is), and it wasn’t hideous, it wouldn’t be all that useful. The minimal splash protection it “could” offer wouldn’t be hugely helpful. I’m confused?…
This splash guard is super cute and handy. It's made of a quality thick silicone material. The size is big enough for washing your face at the bathroom counter or sink, but I also use it with the kitchen sink to keep my shirt from getting soaked. This works well for keeping the water off the floor as well. This works, but it could be better. The suction cups are strong, but designed for a straight surface. I was able to curve this on my pedestal sink, but if it had smaller suction cups and more of them, then it would be more versatile for different shaped surfaces. There weren't any instructions, but I found it works better to put the lip towards yourself instead of towards the drain so it's easier to clean. This deflects the water so it drains versus getting caught in the grooves on the other side.Overall, I'm happy with the quality, design, and color of this splash guard and would recommend it to others.
