Thick Silicone, So Valuable in Kitchen.
My main purpose for this silicone trivet was really use it as a potholder instead of my oven mitts. Not that I still don't have great use for the mitts! But already having two multifunctional grey mats in a 12" diameter, very similar to this one, but not as thick, I was most pleased with the opportunity to pick this up. They're really worth their cost! I've had the other one's for over two years and they still look like new.Crafted from 100% BPA-free food-grade silicone, and quite durable, also are heat-resistant from -105°F to 446°F, offering thermal protection. Since this one is only 7" in diameter, I hand wash it to have it available at all times. My thoughts are to purchase another, especially, since the price point is so fair. And it is so useful, that I don't want to be without it now! And two is better than ONE!

Handy trivet, pot holder, or mini-mat
I ordered the "Winmida Silicone Trivet for Hot Dishes,Multipurpose Non-Slip Hot Pad for Kitchen,Hot Pots and Pans,Pot Holder Heat Resistant for Countertops,Kitchen Mat for Table,Flexible Easy to Wash and Dry,Gray" to serve as a placemat for my pup.My dog "nudges" her bowl a LOT during her meals and no matter what I've tried, she either slides the bowl across the floor or knocks it over outright. Not so much with this small silicone mat, however! Added bonus is that the hexagonal pattern acts as spill-protection to some degree, so even if she does get messy while eating, most spills don't make it past the edge of the mat. Sure, they get into the little honeycomb-looking spaces and have to get rinsed out, but that's much easier than pulling out the mop after each meal.Very pleased with this silicone pad which is priced at $4.49 as I type this review. Happy to recommend.

Every kitchen needs these
I have stone countertops and delicate dinnerware. Not an ideal combination. I've found myself using this trivet not only for hot items but also as a soft buffer when I am serving dish by dish to avoid accidentally chipping a dish that gets set down too fast at the wrong angle. It's also great too grab cookie sheets from the oven when folded in half :)

Simple trivet, saved my dinner
This review is for the Winmida Silicone Trivet for Hot Dishes, Multipurpose Non-Slip Hot Pad for Kitchen, Hot Pots and Pans, Pot Holder Heat Resistant for Countertops, Kitchen Mat for Table, Flexible Easy to Wash and Dry, Black.I received the Winmida trivet yesterday. Last night I found myself holding a hot pressure cooker, looking anxiously for a place to set it down. Then I saw the Winmida. I hadn't yet put it away. The Winmida saved the day. Or at very least, my dinner.The Winmida is a simple trivet. Not much more to say except that the Winmida has endeared itself to me, and has earned my five stars.

Multifunctional
This is a great trivet/pot holder. It's smaller than some of my pots/pans, but still works well for them since it's 1/4" thick, so it raises them off of the surface. It's also a functional pot holder since it's so flexible, although I'd normally rather use a normal pot holder. And since it's silicone, and has a honeycomb surface, it's also good to keep a messy/oily container from dirtying your table/countertop, while being very easy to clean.
