Hot Pot Helper....
Our family has embraced Hot Pot. It is a great, comfort food and event that draws us together at the dinner table for a slow paced, leisurely dining experience. One challenge we used to have was when we'd add noodles to the pot, they'd disperse through the pot and were difficult to serve. Now with this mesh noodle strainer we can keep the noodles contained while having them cook in the broth. This strainer is a good size to hold a few servings of noodles, hangs off of the edge of the pot and being stainless steel, should be long lasting. I am certain we will find other uses for it as well.

It’s a little on the small size. Good for hot pot and boiling one serving of noodles or about 4 large dumplings. Really should get 2 or more for hot pot. Strainer has a good mesh. Well constructed without any fraying. Withstands boiling water no problem.

It's REALLY small...
I thought this would be a great way to easily cook and strain pasta. However, the basket is tiny, and seemed misshapen when it arrived. I did find it handy to scoop out edamame after I cooked it; it took way less time than lifting it out with a slotted spoon. This does have its uses, but be aware that it cannot hold many noodles.

Not all strainers are created equal.
When I compared this one to the previous ones I purchased, there was no comparison. The design and quality are poor. The welded area is rough and protruding.Say no more—see my video for yourself. Too small to strain noodles, fits a few pieces of broccoli
This strainer arrived pretty squashed, and was not too easy to put back into the shape it's suppose to be. It's pretty misshapen but still sort of works. I found that it is much too small to strain noodles. It fit a few pieces of broccoli only. Good for when I have a pot of water boiling for pasta or noodles and I use it to steam one serving of vegetables or 2-3 pieces of dumplings. That's all it's good for, so for me it takes up space in the kitchen for not a lot of function.

Noodle Strainer
Just a simple and much needed strainer for those small meal preps.I've never seen a strainer made like this and it just caught my eye and I knew I needed this for when I'm preparing simple easy meals. A wonderful item to have in the kitchen.
