I got this set for my son's college apartment, which he's sharing with two roommates. We didn't need anything too fancy for three 20yr old messy boys, so these are just fine. Not super high end, but that's not what was required for the job. They are solid enough and the stainless steel is clean and flawless. They should outlast the college years and survive some rough use.

Not perfect
I got this to have a nice set of silverware to use for special occasions or when we are entertaining company. At first glance, the set looks beautiful. Each utensil arrived in its own plastic sleeve so it was protected. There are a few pieces with scratches on them which means their quality control did not catch them. There are also a couple of forks where the tines are not evenly bent. The silverware has some weight to it so the set doesn’t appear cheap. The description mentions a steak knife in the set. It isn’t a steak knife and instead is just a knife. If you are looking for silverware, that is perfect, this set is not for you.

Oddly proportioned
Review for: Grace Premium Silverware Set for 6 – 30-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware, Durable 18/0 Stainless Steel UtensilsThis is a nicely made set of flatware. The pieces are well polished and finished. The backs are not hollowed out, they are solid, so they were not stamped out of flat metal.I like the plain pattern since it is well done. Busy patterns can disguise a lot of poor quality. What is not shown in the pictures is that the brand name is prominently etched on the back of each piece, and on the knife blade.Also not so great are the proportions. The small spoons seem to be in between a regular teaspoon and a demitasse size, at least to me. I could normally grab a teaspoon to eat cold cereal, but this teaspoon bowl would be way too small for that. It wouldn't hold much of anything. The salad fork could easily be mistaken for a dinner fork, it is so large. Which is not a bad thing overall, since I seldom set salad forks in a place setting anyway, and would use it as a dinner fork anyway. The dinner fork seems to be a bit oversized to me. But better to have double the number of dinner forks.The fork tine tips seems to be a little rough at the end - they are pointy and scratchy, and could be finished more smoothly. Hopefully the roughness will smooth out over time.At about $46 for the 30 pieces when I got them they are not badly priced for the quality and would do fine for a starter set, as long as you are not teaching a child to use a fork with them.As a Vine reviewer I try to provide good information. My scale:Most things will start at 4 stars.It gets that extra star only if it is outstanding.It loses stars for issues- bad sizing, poor quality.One star if is is not suitable for purpose or for gross misrepresentation.
