so when I first bought this, I thought this material was just gonna like seep through. I thought all the water was gonna get everywhere but my pleasant amazing surprise no that has not happened even once it's kind of crazy.I'll have my whole kitchen soaking with water and this does not budge no water does leak through at allPlus, it's so cute like it has not faded really I mean it's faded somewhat of the tiniest bit. It hasn't been that long to just keep that in mind, but it still looks like the original designbut for some context, I also bleach it. I'm a bleach user so whenever I clean I also tend to wash it as well with dish soap and bleach and I'll give it a good scrub and I'll let it air dry out and then reuse it so that could be also why it's faded some bit but overall super cute super obsessed💖

This sink guard drying mat is beautiful. It looks great in my kitchen and gives it that pop of color.The size is relatively decent if you have standard size sinks. My sink is actually larger and much deeper than the standard sink, so I already knew this mat would be smaller than my sink area.Quality is good only if you have SMALL splashes. If you have small splashes on it, for example when you turn on and off the water and water drips, then sure, it will dry fast. But if you're washing dishes and have big items such as an oversized tray, turkey rack, etc, the sink area will get wet a lot more than just washing small dishes. Well, this is my issue with this mat. If it's soaked from just regular dish washing, it takes FOREVER to dry. Not to mention, the bottom of the sink where the mat is laying on is also wet. It's not that absorbent...Overall, I don't recommend this sink splash guard even though I really love the look of it. The functionality of it does not work as advertised. I mean, if you never make big splashes while washing dishes, then ok.. I guess this is the mat for you.
