Well, considering the DISASTER of a setup, my being a NOOB, and ALL THE JARS SEALED!!! Mind Blown!
So Im new to canning.I do not have a stove.I DO NOT HAVE A STOVE!So i used a gas grill.Night one, get everything together, takes 45 minutes to find jars, lids and rings, canning bath canners, clean stuff, etc. Remember I have not much idea what Im doing. I finally start the canning, and it starts raining. Remember Im using a gas grill outside. No shelter. Shut it all down.24 hours later start process. Stressed. Annoyed. Confused. So many mixed comments online, dont know who to believe. Pour some homemade wine... Crank up Metallica And Justice For All... wine kicks in, head banging, feeling confident.Gas stove will not bring the 9 quart canning pot to a boil. Closest I can get by using BOTH the dual sear burner AND the standard burner is tiny bubbles on the jars. Take jars out one at a time, pour our almost boiling water, add almost boiling pears in syrup. Remove lids from almost boiling water, dip seals into almost boiling water for 10 seconds to warm them, almost snug. THEY ALL TOOK!!! My mind is blown. These lids and seals WORK!!! All 9 of the first time quarts took. Im excited. Shopping for a convection pressure cooker now to use on my Volwrath Induction stove-top..

Perfect seal and pretty shape. Edit: Beware of the SLife Lids and Rings. Check Twice!
These jars are great. I've heard about folks complaining of off label jars failing to seal but these are totally reliable. I make jelly for sale and gifts. I love the shape and size of these jars. Much more appealing than the regular Ball and Kerr 8oz jars.EDIT: ATTENTION Customers!!!!! Somewhere there is a mixup. I thought I was reordering these jars with the lids, but I received a box of SLife lids and rings only!? And now, when I write the review, I have to edit the one I wrote for the jars and not a new review of the lids I received in error!? Check twice, folks. These rings are junk! They ruined an entire batch of jelly. The rings don't catch the thread completely, allowing jelly to seep out during the sealing process. The seal fails because of the mess. DO NOT BUY THE SLIFE Lids and rings!

Good overall performance
I’m pleased with my results. They are actually a good product. I’ve had a few that didn’t seal. But overall the quality is good and the thickness of the rubber band makes it a safe choice. I do heat the lids in boiling water and then use them after I turn off the heat.

Defective lids and rings
Should be a ZERO. Defective, none of the rings fit the jars. Tried using lids with different rings and they crumpled and did not seal. Both the rings and lids were worthless. I ordered these in Aug., when I began canning in September, it was too late to return them. Complete waste of money.

Lids are good, the bands are hit or miss.
These work as a very inexpensive replacement for Ball lids.I've purchased a couple packs of these over the summer. Every now and then I do get a warped lid (warped before use), but other than that, I've had no issues with the lids. I've only had 2 that did not seal, and that may have been me anyway.The bands, on the other hand, I have had issues with . Some of them will screw on just fine, and others simply will not. If I had to guess at a ratio I'd say roughly 3 or 4 good bands to 1 so-so band.I've since bought more Ball jars and got more high quality bands, so I won't need to use these bands anymore. In the future, I'll stick to just the lids.
