When I decided to get this mini rolling pin I thought it might be useful, but I ended up liking it even more than I thought I would. I used it while making naan bread and tortillas and found it to be the perfect tool for those. The marble gives it enough weight to actually roll out the dough without too much effort your part, and the small size makes it easy to maneuver in limited space while being so much lighter than a full sized rolling pin.The rolling pin seems very well made and the marble used is smooth and well polished. It needs to be handwashed but it was easy to clean, so it's not like it makes a lot more work.

Why is it that small things make us ooh and aah? Yes, when I opened the box my first reaction was, "How cute!" And the second, "Oh, it comes with a dough scraper!" So I was already enjoying it before even taking it out of the package. The marble arrived in great condition, very smooth and beautiful to look at. The handle is a bit rough in some places, could have used a little more finishing or coating of some sort. I am really thrilled with the dough scraper, I did not have one and was making do with less than perfect substitutes.
Recently starting making homemade pizzas and I thought this would be a good little tool to help. It worked great on the pizza dough to help roll it out nice and even. I was surprised it also made it easier to make a nice defined edge/crust. Its not too heavy despite being marble and was easy to use and rolled smoothly. It seems well made and good quality. No sticking to the dough at all! It was easy to clean after, just hand wash and dried off. Small enough to store away easy too.If you use it on pizza it will take some of the air bubbles out and create a more crispy crunchy style crust. Yum!I'm sure I'll be using this little rolling pin for lots of other baking too, pie crust and cookies or even fondant cake decorating. Useful kitchen tool. The included dough scraper is a nice bonus, great for stickier dough like sourdough or cutting dough or cleaning excess flour off the counter. Xinglinsalter compact marble pizza roller has a wooden handle and comes with a dough scraper/cutter. This summer we finally started using our new outdoor pizza oven. We have been having fun experimenting with all different gluten free pizza dough recipes. I've been having problems with rolling the dough since each recipe has a different consistency, some stick to the wooden roller, and others just don't spread properly . The marble surface on this roller is easy to clean, dries quickly and it doesn't absorb odors. I prefer to keep the marble roller cool so after each pizza I place it in the refrigerator to keep it cool. I find this ensures that the dough does not become a sticky mess. Also, the weight of the roller makes spreading easier. Since this roller is compact it is so easy to store in any cabinet. I have been storing it in the box that it arrived in--that works well for me. The box protects the marble and makes storage easy.I am still in search for the perfect GF dough for my personal pizza, but now I have a tool to make the job easierI am happy with the roller
I have had a small roller from a very expensive home party company for years so when mine got a crack I needed a replacement quickly. I have a marble full size rolling pin and thought I would see if I could find a smaller one and I did. To start with the handle/grip is very comfortable. As a female with long fingers handheld utensils can sometimes feel awkward. The handle was not too small for my hand or too big for my granddaughters. Then the roller itself - it has a nice weight that works well when rolling pastry or other dough. Marble also stays cool longer which makes for a flakier pastry (hint I put mine in the refrigerator before use to get even cooler). There is a scraper provided that I honestly don't know if I will use only because I have an ole favorite right now.
