Great for 2 person household
These mini loaf pans are great for my wife and I. I like to prepare foods like lasagna or Shepherds pie, and then split it into mini loaf pans so we can eat one portion and freeze two or more additional pans for future meals. Up til now I have bought the aluminum mini loaf pans, but finding the mini loaf pans is hit and miss, and they have problems. The aluminum pans are fragile and so special care was necessary to keep from crushing the pan while waiting for the contents to freeze. They also had to be handled delicately going in and out of the oven or air fryer. These steel pans, of course, are nice and rigid so I can stack them in the freezer immediately and put them in the oven without needing a second pan underneath. The nonstick surface will make it easy to clean them after baking and re-use the pans, rather than throwing away so much garbage. I also enjoy bread baking and can’t wait to bake some mini loafs of bread for my wife and I. I never bothered to try that in the aluminum pans as I don’t think the bread would have turned out right. With these pans it should be great. 12 seemed like a lot of pans, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I find myself wishing I had 12 more in the near future.
