Glass - thick and durableLid - serves its purpose. If you want leak proof for liquids, I’d suggest a lid with a gasket.Price - reasonable. I’ve purchased similar containers before but was unable to find small glass containers. Usually it’s easy to find small plastic Tupperware but not glass, unless it’s Pyrex. I’m happy with this product.
