So far, I like this kettle. It has simple controls, it heats up water pretty fast, and I like the way it looks. Unlike many kettles, this one seems to have no plastic in the lid, so one does not have to wonder whether that plastic would melt (on some kettles it does). The only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars is that sometimes, instead of heating to the temperature I select, it heats to boiling.
Not even close to accurate temps.Multiple times the unit has blown past the temp setting (which you have to do each time)I set it for 195°, it hits 210°So bad. I’m shocked it has no memory temp setting. It’s misleading in the fact that they are showing a memory setting when in fact it’s only a hold setting once you turn the unit on. Meaning, every time you turn the unit on you have to set the temperature, it has no memory setting to hit your desired temperature.
