Unlike some other silicone replacement lids, this is the best fitting replacement lid I have ever ordered and a true replacement for the Pyrex 7212-PC. It’s a little pricey but it’s made of silicone instead of plastic so it seals better and should last a very long time, unlike the plastic lids…and no micro -plastics in my food.
Love my old glass Anchor and Pyrex rectangular dishes. The original plastic covers got brittle and cracked away over time, and was pleased to find these here! Very nice quality silicone, tight fit, better than originals, don't leak when dish is tipped! You have to have a technique of getting them on easily, which is placing them over the dish, starting with pressing down one corner first, following along edges to next corners while pressing, and a wee bit of stretching. I use the heels of my palms. Then you can crack open a corner and "burp" the air out. When you measure for fit, remember it's supposed to be snug. Fits the standard sizes. For the price, these will last a very long time, and would be good for thrift shop rectangular dishes that are missing lids. Highly recommend!

I purchased these lids in order to use them as a "universal" dark-colored lid for various cooking pans used in a solar box oven. This does not require a tight fit. I saw that they tolerate up to 450 degrees, yet the lids say that they should not be used in an oven. This puzzled me at first, given their high heat tolerance. I suspect that they should not be used in an oven when they are secured tightly to the container. In my case, they just loosely sit on top of the container. I tried it in my solar oven and it works just fine.
Bought these as a replacement for the flimsy lids that came with the 11cup Anchor Hocking Glass containers. They are sturdy enough to stack and have a good seal. They wash nicely in the dishwasher.
Sturdy and strong! If they last, which the feel like they will... they'll be well worth the money.
Work as expected and fit as described. They go on easily and are still taut enough to stack things on top of them in the fridge. I bought this brand in a smaller size to test it out and those were great, too. I've had to replace almost all the plastic lids for my glass containers...unfortunate that the ones they come with just don't have a great lifespan. I would say I'd buy these again, but I don't think I'll ever need to--I expect these to last forever as they wash easily, don't get brittle, can't crack, etc. Would recommend for sure.
