We drink everything out of mason jars, and these little puppies work for all of it! And then you can seal the jar! I wish I had thought of this great multi problem solver. I was worried that the soft silicone would slide off but it weirdly grips the glass. Now I have one item to replace 3

During the hot summers, I love using Mason Jars for ice cold water. But now it's winter (near me) and I find my biggest problem is that I want to keep a mug with room temp water for when I wake up at night. Sometimes I have knocked the water over at night and sometimes I have caught the doggies and kitties "sharing" so I end up having to put the water out of all of our reach. (Yes, my pets are loved and have their own fresh water changed multiple times per day.) Enter...a lid.These lids fit my regular sized mugs perfectly. They also fit very nicely on my large (wide mouthed) mugs BUT only on the regular sized mugs do they seal. On my large mug they act as a cover but the contents of the mug would certainly spill if tipped over. On this size of mug, everything is spill proof. (I tested with water to be sure.)I appreciate that these won't rust like my Mason Jar seals tend to do and I'm looking forward to storing food in the refrigerator with these lids and my jars! Obviously, you can't use these lids for canning but they should help keep things fresh without using so much tin foil and I won't have to match pyrex lids as often lol.In short, these are really nice lids and I expect them to last a while. My only two complaints are as follows:1. Made in China. I'd much prefer to support the US or an ally or democracy.2. I'm still undecided how I feel about the stoppers. On the one hand, I love that they are removable bc I tend to think of stoppers as annoying little hindrances when I'm not using them. On the other hand, I suspect if I am not careful, I will eventually misplace some of them like socks in a dryer. So, I guess that is your call...Also, this is a "me problem" not a lid problem but I don't like to use plastic straws. I have paper straws but I tend to save them for teeth damaging drinks such as lemon water. Thus, without a straw I have to take the lid off in order to drink. It is not difficult to do. :)
Got these for my partner, who is a jar hoarder. She literally saves any glass jar from any food item that we buy. The lids and jars take over the cabinets. These were great because they fit multiple size jars and it works pretty well without spilling or leaking, though we didn't jostle the jars too much. Really good value for the money and they look really vibrant.I'm hoping to get rid of some of the lids and replacing them with these since were only using 5-7 jars at a time. *finger crossed*

I’ve been using these silicone covers for two weeks now, and they have completely replaced my metal lids for non-canning purposes.The "Shake Test" & Seal Integrity: The seal is impressively airtight. I tested the "Regular Mouth" side with a jar of water by holding it upside down and shaking it vigorously over the sink; not a single drop escaped. The straw hole plug is also quite snug—I felt confident tossing a filled jar into my car’s cupholder without worrying about splashes on the upholstery.Design Versatility: The reversible design is the standout feature here. Being able to flip the cover to fit either a Wide Mouth or Regular jar saves a lot of drawer space.Pro-tip: Because they are silicone, they have a bit of "grip," which actually makes them easier to twist off than metal rings if you have cold or wet hands.Hygiene & Maintenance: I’ve used these for pungent refrigerator pickles and garlic-heavy dressings. After a run through the dishwasher (top rack), there was zero lingering odor, which is often an issue with plastic lids. The bright colors are also helpful for "coding" my fridge—for example, using red for spicy items and blue for drinks.Important Usage Note: Please note that these are not for heat-process canning. I still use my traditional flats and rings for shelf-stable preserving. These are strictly for:On-the-go smoothies (the straw hole is perfect for standard reusable straws).Dry pantry storage (seeds, nuts).Fridge leftovers or fermenting (like kimchi or pickles).
